“Fix You”

It’s amazing where you find yourself worshipping, isn’t it?
During Spring Harvest I got myself ‘marked’ with two tattoos: Celtic Trinity and the words ‘Peace Love and Kindness’ on my left foot. I wanted to be permanently marked as a reminder of what my life should be about… It’s about God and living out ‘Peace Love and Kindness’.
I should have known it was going to be a bit crazy when Neil (the tattooist) asked Danielle what the music tattoo on her arm was and she started singing the theme song of the Salvation Army to him… Nearly 3 hours later we were still in the shop listening to music, talking about the spirituality of U2, what Neil thought of Spring Harvest (not impressed cos we don’t get tattoos!) and a host of other stuff!
And somehow down in the craziness of that tattoo parlour I worshipped in a way that I am sure has changed me forever…
Wow, I think this is sooo cool!!!! I was blown away when I read this post because in January, the Lord had me do a photoshoot for some ministry photos that I needed to have taken and guess where He had me do it? In a tattoo parlor in Nashville, along with some other very random places – like outside of a stipper club…. All of the places the Lord led my photographer and I too were all places where broken people hang out. People that the “church” would turn their noses too because of the stench of that kind of “sin”.
Keep on rockin’ it in that Tattoo parlor!!!

You will have to go through a LOT of photos, as they are all throughout the photographers slideshow… We did a lot of stuff with a sword (for the sword of the spirit cutting through strongholds etc) outside of the strip club and inside the tattoo parlor. They are pretty hardcore!
